About This Class
This class is designed for dancers to explore the various forms of Samba from Bahia and Rio De Janeiro with infusions of Afro-Brazilian movements from Angola, Congo, Benin, and Nigeria. Students will explore samba no pé, miudinho, samba reggae, samba afro, and samba de roda.
You’re invited to delve into samba's roots, rhythm, and cultural essence while exploring your self-expression and performance qualities in the process.
Class is open to all levels, including absolute beginners.
